Police in Surrey are investigating a serious, pedestrian-involved collision in the 15600-block of Highway 10.
Although the westbound lanes of Highway 10 were open shortly after 6:20 a.m., both lanes of Highway 10 in Surrey were initially closed in both directions between 152 Street and 160 Street for several hours for assessment of the incident, Surrey Police Service noted in a release issued shortly after midnight Friday (July 31).
SPS’s Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) is leading the investigation, the release shared.
Police encouraged motorists to seek alternate routes during the Friday morning commute.
A release is expected later Friday morning.
