NOTICE is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held on TUESDAY, JULY 21, 2026, at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers at City Hall, 11995 Haney Place, to allow the public to make verbal or written representation to Council with respect to the following proposed bylaw(s) and permit(s):

Tenant Protection Development Permit Area

Maple Ridge Official Community Plan Amending Bylaw No. 8109-2026

Purpose: To create a city-wide Tenant Protection Development Permit Area that enables the City to require a Tenant Protection Development Permit prior to a Demolition Permit, ensuring that conditions related to compliance with the proposed Tenant Protection Bylaw are met prior to displacement of tenants.

All persons who believe their interest in property is affected by the proposed applications will be given a reasonable opportunity to be heard.

The proposed bylaw(s) and permit(s) may be inspected at the Planning and Building Counter at Municipal Hall from July 10, 2026 to July 21, 2026 (8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays).
