There is free live music every Tuesday night in downtown Maple Ridge through July.
Twilight Tuesdays – Pops in the Park, featuring the Maple Ridge Concert Band, will happen from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Memorial Peace Park (11930 224 St.).
The band, led by conductor Dr. John Van Deursen, performs a lively mix of marches, classical pieces, Broadway hits, pop music, and more. The Maple Ridge Concert Band was founded 80 years ago, and has three different bands for various levels of musicians.
The events are family friendly, and participants can bring their own lawn chair or blanket.
