Maple Ridge East MLA Lawrence Mok has been named to Kerry-Lynne Findlay’s new BC Conservative leadership team.
Mok is now one of three stakeholder relations lieutenants, and was one of 13 B.C. MLAs to be named to the Conservative caucus, including:
• Heather Maahs, the Interim Leader of the Official Opposition;
• Sheldon Clare, the Official Opposition House Leader;
• Lorne Doerkson, the Official Opposition Deputy House Leader;
• Macklin McCall, the Official Opposition Whip;
• Reann Gasper, the Official Opposition Deputy Whip;
• Jody Toor, the Caucus Chair;
• Sharon Hartwell, the Caucus Representative to the CPBC Board;
• David Williams, the Okanagan and Interior Lieutenant;
• Anna Kindy, the Vancouver Island Lieutenant;
• Ian Paton, the Lower Mainland Lieutenant;
• and MLA’s Steve Kooner and Brent Chapman, Stakeholder Relations Lieutenants.
Mok has also been appointed Critic for Trade and Skills Training in Findlay’s new Shadow Cabinet.
The MLA for Maple Ridge East endorsed Findlay’s bid for leadership of the party in April.
“I am deeply grateful for your support and for standing strong with our team as we unite our party and prepare to serve the people of British Columbia,” said Findlay about the new Conservative team.
“Together, under principled and experienced leadership, we will move forward with purpose: restoring fiscal responsibility, defending property rights, strengthening safer communities, and building an economy that works for families and creates good jobs across our province,” she said.
