Hockey has taken over the City of Kelowna as the Memorial Cup gets underway.
Festivities started May 21 with a parade to showcase the tournament trophy and a ceremony to welcome teams and fans.

Alongside the home team Kelowna Rockets, the teams facing off for the trophy are the Kitchener Rangers, Everett Silvertips and Chicoutimi Saguenéens.
Game one of the tournament is set for May 22. The Rockets and Rangers hit the ice at Prospera Place at 6 p.m.
