Work bee coming to Ruskin Community Hall on May 30

Ruskin Community Hall in eastern Maple Ridge will get some sprucing up from volunteers soon.

The hall, located at the corner of 284th Street and 96th Avenue, is 102 years old, having been built in 1924 by volunteers and with donations.

Volunteers will be doing yard work and cleaning to get the hall ready for summer on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Those interested in helping with the work bee can join the group of volunteers at the hall.
