Rivers Day volunteers needed for Maple Ridge event

Alouette River Management Society (ARMS) is looking for enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to help out at Ridge Meadows Rivers Day.

There are a variety different roles to be filled for the event.

The society is looking for people to welcome guests, assist with parking, help with children’s activities, support exhibitors, help with event setup or takedown, and more.

“Or simply being part of an incredible community event, we have a variety of volunteers shifts and roles available throughout the day,” said the society online.

“This is a great opportunity to connect with your community, support local environmental education and conservation, earn volunteer hours, and be part of one of the region’s favourite family events celebrating our rivers and watersheds.”

Anyone interested in volunteering can email: Sophie@AlouetteRiver.org.
