An ongoing investigation had specialized units of the RCMP at various locations in Maple Ridge Saturday afternoon, July 18.
Maple Ridge RCMP was responding to locations near the Port Haney Wharf and Silver Valley areas.
Specialized units, including the Emergency Response Team (ERT), were assisting.
There is no threat to public safety, said police.
The RCMP said they appreciate the cooperation of the public during this time.
