Learn how to prepare for and respond to a disaster with the City of Pitt Meadows emergency program manager.
The free session will include both general disaster preparedness information as well as some specific information related to seismic risk associated with earthquakes.
Attendees of this session will learn about the City’s overall emergency program and local hazards within Pitt Meadows, as well as what to do in case of a disaster, how to stay informed, and suggestions on building your own emergency plans and kits.
This session is open to Pitt Meadows residents and can accommodate up to 25 people.
Due to site constraints, no onsite parking is available for this event.
The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at Pitt Meadows fire hall, 19240 122A Ave.
