The Ridge Meadows Burrards U13 lacrosse teams brought home three medals from the provincial championships held over the weekend.
The U13 Co-ed B2 team won the gold medal, the U13 Co-ed B1 team took bronze, and the U13 Female A team also won bronze.
Kesler Kasa was named the tournament MVP for the U13 B2 team. They beat the Port Moody Thunder in the gold medal game by a score of 11-9.
The B1 team won the bronze medal with an 8-7 win over Richmond, while the female U13 A1 team won their bronze medal game 5-3.
In a note of congratulations to the team, Ridge Meadows Minor Lacrosse Association president Tyson Craiggs praised their dedication, teamwork, and hard work that “made the entire Burrards nation proud.”
“Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, managers, volunteers and parents for another fantastic season representing our club with pride and sportsmanship,” he said. “Your commitment and support are what make our association the best in the country.”
