Nominations are now open for the GETI Fest 2026 Community Spirit Awards.
The Golden Ears Transition Initiative Society (GETI) would like to recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses who make the community stronger, kinder, and more resilient.
Nominees should be somebody who:
• Supports and uplifts others;
• encourages community involvement;
• demonstrates leadership and innovation;
• promotes environmental stewardship;
• contributes to community well-being and resilience;
• and who makes Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows a better place to live, work, and play.

The deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Winners will be announced at GETI Fest 2026 on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Memorial Peace Park in downtown Maple Ridge.
