Today in Canada, the focus is on Vancouver for the Canada-Qatar match that starts at 3 p.m. Pacific, in the second Group B game for both teams.
Thursday’s three other matches (June 18) feature Czechia vs. South Africa in Atlanta (9 a.m. start Pacific time), Switzerland vs. Bosnia and Herzagovina in Los Angeles for another Group B battle (noon) and Mexico vs. Korea in Guadalajara (6 p.m.), all shown live on TSN.
An England win highlighted Wednesday action (June 17) at the men’s soccer tournament.
In Dallas, England topped Croatia 4-2 with two goals by Harry Kane and singles from Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford, while Martin Buterina and Peter Musa responded for Crotia.
Kane has now scored the most penalties (excluding shootouts) in World Cup history, with five goals from the 12-yard spot.
In Mexico City, Colombia scored a 3-1 win over Uzbekistan in the late game.
Earlier, Ghana beat Panama 1-0 in Toronto.
In Houston, Portugal tied Congo 1-1 in the day’s first match, a Group K encounter.
