Pitt Meadows Farmers Market returns for another season on June 9

The Pitt Meadows Farmers Market is back, starting on June 9 at Spirit Square.

The market will now run every Tuesday until September, and will be open to customers from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at 11985 Harris Rd., next to city hall.

There is live music at the market, and on June 9 the entertainment will be provided by Matt McCourt.

Promoted as a great place to shop on the way home from school or after work, the market boasts the freshest produce in the Lower Mainland, as well as artisan goods, and small-scale food producers.

The market is run by the Fraser North Farmers Market Society, who also operate Maple Ridge’s Haney Farmers Market, which has been offering local produce and goods for more than two decades.
