‘Vehicle incident’ snarls South Surrey traffic near Serpentine River

Drivers in South Surrey experienced delays Wednesday morning near the Serpentine River Bridge.

According to Drive BC, the delays were caused by a vehicle incident, which blocked the right lane and the bus lane on Highway 99 near the Serpentine River Bridge.

Drive BC cautioned motorists to expect delays “due to congestion” north of King George Boulevard and northbound Highway 99 due to the incident.

Around 8:22 a.m., Drive BC posted an update on Twitter noting two lanes were open, but the bus lane remained blocked.
