Maple Ridge residents will soon have more ways to stay cool during the warmer weather, and affordable fun for their families, with the city spray parks opening daily starting May 16.
Hammond Outdoor Pool will be opening June 6 for weekends and then daily starting June 28, pending approval from Fraser Health.
The City operates five spray parks across Maple Ridge:
• Albion Sports Complex, 23778 104 Ave.
• Country Lane Estates North, 24299 102A Ave.
• Country Lane Estates South, 24395 101 Ave.
• Maple Ridge Park, 13180 232 St.
• Tsuyuki Park, 11170 241A St.
There is another spray park opening planned for this summer at Volker Park, 21131 123 Ave.
Spray parks and water features operate from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
City spray parks and water play features are permitted under Stage 2 and Stage 3 water restrictions as they operate using timed, user-activated switches.
