Berhalter scores 2 in Texas to lift Whitecaps to 1st in MLS

Whitecaps FC moved back into first place in the MLS Supporters’ Shield standings with a win in Frisco, Texas on Wednesday night, May 13.

Vancouver’s 3-2 road victory over FC Dallas extending their unbeaten streak to seven matches (5W-0L-2D), and the Whitecaps remain unbeaten on the road in MLS play.

Sebastian Berhalter led the way with two goals for the ‘Caps, scoring his career-high fifth and sixth MLS goals of the season.

Teammate Thomas Müller made his return to the pitch in the second half after missing the previous two matches due to illness.
