Police had to cool down a dispute between a Blind Bay resident and his skinny dipping neighbour.
On April 16, Salmon Arm RCMP received a call from a Blind Bay resident who reported having ongoing issues with their neighbour.
“The 69-year-old reported that his 56-year-old neighbour uses his hot tub in the nude, and when confronted asking him to cover up, the 56-year-old told him to ‘f** off’,” said Salmon Arm RCMP spokesperson Const. Andrew Hodges in a news release.
Hodges said police spoke with the hot tub owner, and noted there’ve been ongoing issues “for years between the neighbours, supported by previous police files.
“The 56-year-old showed police the steps he’d taken to ensure his backyard was private, which appeared appropriate to police,” said Hodges.
