There was no shortage of accolades for a Penticton vineyard at the 2026 British Columbia Wine Awards.
Laughing Stock Vineyards, located at 1548 Naramata Rd., took home both the Winery of the Year and Wine of the Year award for its 2023 Syrah on May 1.
The awards were handed out at the BC Wine Awards, which kicked off the 2026 Okanagan Spring Wine Festival last weekend in Kelowna.
This marks the second straight year Laughing Stock Vineyards has received widespread acclaim.
In 2025, it won Best Performing Small Winery of the Year at the National Wine Awards of Canada, coincidentally hosted in Penticton.
Laughing Stock Vineyards will look to continue its streak of accolades at this year’s edition of the national awards, from June 12 to 18 in Niagara Falls, Ont.
