This year’s PNE Prize Home is located in Surrey because a poll of lottery ticketbuyers suggested their city of choice.
“We do listen to what our ticketbuyers tell us in terms of the types of neighbourhoods that they would like to be in, and this was at the top of the list,” Shelley Frost, PNE president and CEO, told the Now-Leader on Tuesday (May 5) during a launch event at 10100 Elderberry Cres., south of Surrey Bend Regional Park and north of Highway 1.
“It’s fabulous for us to be able to listen to that and bring the prize home to a place where people are really excited about the neighbourhood.”
The $2.3-million North Surrey house is in the Abbey Heights development by Foxridge Homes, a Qualico Company. The seven-bedroom home, 4,117 square feet on three levels, includes a two-bedroom legal suite in the basement.
Lottery tickets are now on sale, and public tours start June 20.
The PNE Prize Home has been located in Langley in recent years, South Surrey before that.
The 2026 home in North Surrey is advertised as “a bright and welcoming family haven, complete with an art room and games room, blending soft neutrals with warm woods and playful pops of colour to create a home that is both stylish and livable.”

PNE Fair-goers can have a look at Prize Home displays from Aug. 22 to Sept. 7, but Frost encourages people to see the place in person before that. “As soon as people see the visuals online, they’re going to want to come see it, because it’s pretty spectacular.”
The PNE Prize Home will open for public tours June 20 to Aug. 15 every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free tickets for tours will be available through TicketLeader in June.
Lottery tickets to win the home and other prizes are now on sale (two for $35, six for $80, 15 for $165, 30 for $285), on pneprizehome.ca, call 604-678-4663 or toll-free, 1-877-946-4663.
“The lottery generally generates about $9 million a year, and that’s really, really important to us,” Frost said. “A lot of people don’t realize that we are a nonprofit. All of the events we do, whether it’s fair or Playland or concerts, things like that, all the money, the revenue that we generate, goes back to non-revenue-producing programs. It goes to our community programs, to some of the school programs that we do, to make sure underprivileged kids can come to Playland, agricultural programming, all of those kinds of things.”
Surrey Mayor Brenda Locke said she’ll be buying a PNE Prize Home lottery ticket, as always. “I’ve done that for many, many decades now — I shouldn’t say too many decades,” she said.
“This is a beautiful, beautiful home for families, a wonderful neighbourhood,” Locke added. “I know whoever wins this prize home is going to be so very, very happy to live and work and play in the City of Surrey.”
The home features furnishings by Paramount Home & Design, appliances and electronics from Samsung, an EV charger supported by BC Hydro and a Husqvarna yard maintenance package.
Other lottery prizes are five vehicles from Chevrolet and Cadillac, five $10,000 cash prizes, two $10,000 Metropolis at Metrotown shopping sprees, two seven-day cruises for two with Celebrity Cruises (plus $1,500 cash), a 2026 Suzuki Boulevard M109R motorcycle, a Beachcomber hot tub package and a Woody’s Travel Trailer. Four bonus draws will also take place throughout the summer, each featuring a seven-day cruise for two with Celebrity Cruises plus $1,500 cash.
