A retired couple in small-town Canada is targeted for a home invasion in a hilarious comedy being put on by Emerald Pig Theatrical Society.
The story, “Suburban Standoff” begins in the living room of Hank and Nancy, a couple of ex C.S.O.R. agents, who are now retired – more due to job related circumstances than age.
Ty and Candy are down on their luck and desperate for quick cash when they attempt their very first home invasion, targeting this retired couple in the suburbs.
However, it quickly becomes apparent that the young invaders are out of their league when they are taught “the ropes” of how take control by these experts of conflict management.
The play, written by award-winning playwright Michael Grant, and directed by Hazel Eason, will feature the local talents of actors Angela Bell, Dave Tanchak, Sarah Hosta and Daniel Stewart.
“Suburban Standoff” runs from Thursday, April 30, to Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, May 3, at 1 p.m. at Pitt Heritage Hall in Pitt Meadows, ……
Then it runs from Thursday, May 7, to Saturday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee on Sunday, May 10, at 1 p.m. at the Albion Community Centre,
