On Friday afternoon, April 17, two youths were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries after a stabbing in the 27200-block of Fraser Highway.
Police said they responded to a call at approximately 2:06 p.m. about a reported disturbance.
When officers arrived, they found two youths suffering from apparent stab wounds.
“Investigators believe this was a targeted incident, and there is no ongoing risk to the public,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP.
Police vehicles were seen outside the 7-Eleven at 272 Street and Fraser Highway, where officers had taped off the area.

Yesterday, April 16, there was another stabbing in Langley’s Willowbrook neighbourhood.
RCMP said the two incidents are not connected.
“We recognize that two stabbing incidents occurring on consecutive days are understandably concerning for the community,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.
“Police can confirm that today’s incident is not related to the stabbing reported yesterday.”
