Four arrested after two youths stabbed in Aldergrove

At approximately 4:12 p.m. on April 17, Langley RCMP arrested three male youths and one male adult in connection with a stabbing incident earlier in the day in the 27200-block of Fraser Highway.

The incident sent two youths to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The four individuals are to remain in custody while the investigation continues.

Police said they initially responded to a call at approximately 2:06 p.m. about a reported disturbance.

When officers arrived, they found two youths suffering from stab wounds.

“From the moment this incident was reported, officers acted immediately to locate those responsible,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP.

Police vehicles were seen outside the 7-Eleven at 272 Street and Fraser Highway, where officers had taped off the area.

Yesterday, April 16, there was another stabbing in Langley’s Willowbrook neighbourhood.

RCMP said the two incidents are not connected.

“We recognize that two stabbing incidents occurring on consecutive days are understandably concerning for the community,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of the Langley RCMP.

“Police can confirm that today’s incident is not related to the stabbing reported yesterday.”
