Summer registration starting for SD42 summer programs

Registration is starting this week for SD42 summer learning programs.

Programs for students in Grades 6 to 12 will be taking place at Thomas Haney Secondary and at the Katzie Health Centre.

Grade 6-7 elementary band will be taking place from 9-12:20 p.m. from July 7-23 at Thomas Haney Secondary, 23000 116 Ave., Maple Ridge.

For students in Grade 7 and 8 there is Transition Explorations in Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies, (ADST), or Fine Arts, drama and art, and French Immersion, from 9-12:20 p.m., July 7-23 at Thomas Haney.

Students in Grade 8 and 9 there is Literacy and Numeracy Skill-Building from 8:30-2 p.m., July 7-28, at Thomas Haney.

For those in Grade 10-12 there is Courses Leading to Graduation from 8:30-2 p.m., July 7-28, at Thomas Haney.

Katzie Summer Learning will take place from July 7-23 for elementary students and from July 7-28 for secondary students, at the Katzie Health Centre, 19700a Salish Rd., Pitt Meadows.

Families can register through the Parent Portal at: https://parents.sd42.ca, between noon, starting on Thursday, April 16 and 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 7.

Waitlist registration period runs between May 13 and June 5. Priority will be given to SD42 catchment students, followed by the registration time stamp.
