Musicians from across Canada and the United States will be coming together at the Royal Canadian Legion in Maple Ridge for a concert to raise money for local veterans.
The show called RiseUP Live Show and Fundraiser will feature host Robert Maxwell, a renowned comedian, magician, and hypnotist, in addition to musicians: Brian Zalo; BrandiWyne; Tara Kye; Craig Jamieson; Laura Gagnon; and Howard Gripp.
Zalo has been a performing and recording artist for more than 20 years and was the winner of the lifetime achievement award 2010 for guitar player in Western Canada.
BrandiWyne is known for her unique, dynamic hybrid of rock, pop, R&B, and blues.
Kye and musician John Dean have been writing music together for almost a quarter of a century, and created the musical genre molten metal when they decided to write a song together to raise money for cancer research.
Jamieson is a rising star with what is described as an electrifying blend of pop, rock, contemporary, and synthwave
Gagnon, who calls Port Stanley, Ontario home, has been crafting songs for two decades, and is considered a storyteller who has shared stages with icons like Tyler Shaw, Bif Naked, and Chuck Leavell from the Rolling Stones.
Gripp is a Christian artist whose mission is to use his music as a weapon of hope, encouragement, and faith, for others navigating their own storms.
The entire tour will be filmed for a Netflix documentary.
