A Maple Ridge man won a new EV on a scratch and win ticket.
Jeffrey P. was in a state of shock when BCLC called him to let him know that he won the 7-RUN Scratch & Win grand prize – a 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E Premium.
Upon hearing the news, the Maple Ridge resident exclaimed on the call, “Get out of town!”
Surrounded by employees of BCLC, 7-Eleven, and Ford, he received his new wheels at a celebration event at Metro Ford in Coquitlam on June 23.
When asked how it felt to win the brand-new vehicle, he said: “It’s slightly surreal.”
Jeffrey was one of three winners who won a top prize of $2,500, including entry into a draw for the chance to win the
Mustang.
After winning a cash prize of $15 from a complimentary 7-RUN ticket from an in-store activation at 7-Eleven on
200th Street and 72nd Avenue in Langley, Jeffrey purchased an additional 7-RUN ticket which won him the grand prize vehicle.
As a partnership between BCLC and 7-Eleven Canada, the 7-RUN Scratch & Win ticket launched in January and offered customers a guaranteed win of a cash prize or 7-Eleven food or beverage item.
