Free Pride Concert in Pitt Meadows to celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ community

Enjoy a free, fun evening of music and dancing to celebrate Pride in Pitt Meadows.

The evening is being held by the City of Pitt Meadows to celebrate the 2SLGBTQI+ community.

Stephen Scaccia Band will be performing, along with drag performer Carrie Dawn.

Scaccia is a Vancouver-based R&B, soul, jazz, and pop vocalist, who is known for soulful interpretations of R&B and pop classics alongside polished jazz standards.

He is a proud member of the 2SLGBTQI+ community, who also plays for The Cutting Edges, Vancouver’s LGBTQ+ hockey club.

Scaccia has been a featured artist at Pride events across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley since 2018.

Carrie Dawn is a Vancouver-based drag queen – and impersonator of Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and many more.

“This concert not only celebrates Pride Season, but also recognizes the contributions of the 2SLGBTQI+ community here in Pitt Meadows,” said the city online.

The Pride Concert will be taking place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, at Spirit Square, 11985 Harris Rd, Pitt Meadows.

In addition to live music and entertainment, food trucks will also be on site, and local vendors.
