Food Truck Fridays return this week, and a blood clinic is piggybacking onto the kickoff event in Albion.
On June 12, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., food trucks will get cooking for the first Food Truck Friday of the new season at the Albion Community Centre (24165 104th Avenue).
Authentic Malaysian cuisine is on the menu, from Kampong Taste of Malaysia.
And Canadian Blood Services will be running a blood and plasma donation clinic on site.
No two donors feel the same when they give. That’s the beauty of it — every experience is personal, but the impact is shared

Guests are invited to get some food, relax in the back yard at ACC with lounge seating, picnic tables, and fun games like giant Guess Who? and Kerplunk – perfect for all ages.
There will be food trucks at ACC each Friday until Aug. 21, with a different menu each time. See mapleridge.ca for a full schedule.
