Savour the docuseries brings Victoria live-fire dining to the screen

Victoria-based live-fire dining turns cinematic storytelling as Savoured Here launches this month, going public in September.

Savour the Wild – the immersive dining experience founded by chef Colton Armstrong-Ashley and creative director Saman Rezapour – stars in a new six-part documentary series exploring the people, landscapes and food culture shaping Vancouver Island.

Backed by Telus Storyhive, each 25-minute episode profiles the chefs, Indigenous knowledge keepers, farmers, foragers, fishers, and producers helping define the region’s culinary identity, while exploring the connection between food, place, culture, and community.

Premiering this September on TELUS Optik TV, TELUS Stream+, and YouTube, Savoured Here is designed as the first chapter of an ongoing storytelling platform that will continue expanding into new regions and culinary communities.

The launch includes the release of the official trailer, alongside curated screenings and experiential events across Victoria and Vancouver that bring the series to life through live-fire dining, chef collaborations, and community storytelling.
