Vancouver Canucks icon Trevor Linden is on board for a “fireside chat,” at the Ridge Meadows Chamber’s Momentum 2026 event.
Billed as an Economic Growth and Success Expo, Momentum 2026 is being designed to inspire and connect business people in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Last year’s event featured B.C. Finance Minister Brenda Bailey among three cabinet ministers. This year’s guests are headlined by Captain Canuck.
Best known for his 19 seasons in the NHL, Linden also has an impressive business background. He was the Vancouver Canucks president of hockey operations from 2014 to 2018, is the co-founder and co-owner of the Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness gyms, and has dealt in real estate development.
Linden will speak about lessons he has learned about resilience, teamwork, purpose, and community building.
Tickets are now on sale for the Oct. 22 event at The ACT Arts Centre. The cost is $40 plus GST for chamber members, and $80 plus GST for non-members. The event is being co-hosted with the City of Maple Ridge.
Momentum will also feature a home based business expo, with up to 20 local entrepreneurs in The ACT lobby.
