The Maple Ridge Leisure Centre pools will be closed to the public this weekend, May 30 and 31, as the Haney Neptunes aquatic club club hosts a meet.
There will be no public swimming, no drop-in programs, and no swim lessons. Regular operations will begin on June 1, after the meet.
It’s the second of many meets across the region for the club during the competitive summer season, leading up to the regionals in Abbotsford on July 31 to Aug. 2, followed by the provincials in Kamloops on Aug. 14 to 16.
