A documentary looking at the growing concern of wildfires in B.C. is now free for viewing.

“This film started as an attempt to better understand why wildfire seasons are becoming more destructive and what practical steps may help reduce future risk,” said retired forester and the film’s director, Murray Wilson. “The response from communities across B.C. showed there is a real appetite for thoughtful, respectful discussion around forests, wildfire, and community safety.”
The 45-minute film first premiered in the summer of 2025 and was screened in more than 25 communities across the province.
