A new animated short documentary about Burnaby-born soccer legend Christine Sinclair was released by Knowledge Network on May 22.

Narrated by Ryan Reynolds and directed by Vancouver animator Eoin Duffy (Studio Belly Animation), the 10-minute film focuses on the Burnaby-born soccer legend Sinclair, the all-time leading international goal scorer.
Over a 23-year career with Canada’s national team, Sinclair won three Olympic medals including gold at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
“Our goal was to create a film that felt worthy of Christine’s story, honest, layered and distinctly Canadian,” Duffy said of the film, commissioned by Knowledge Network with support from Creative BC and the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport.
