VIDEO: Fraser Highway re-opens after fatal pedestrian hit-and-run

Fraser Highway was closed between 232 and 240 Streets as police investigate a fatal hit-and-run early Saturday morning.

On May 16, at approximately 4:40 a.m., Langley RCMP responded to a person in distress on Fraser Highway, between 232 Street and 240 Street.

Officers arrived in the area and located a pedestrian who had suffered injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle, said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, of the Langley RCMP.

He explained that both the driver and the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene.
