NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 464(2) and 467 of the Local Government Act, that City of Maple Ridge Municipal Council will consider waiving a Public Hearing for the proposed Zone Amending Bylaws; and further
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to s. 94 of the Community Charter and s. 467 of the Local Government Act that the following proposed Zone Amending Bylaws will be presented at the Committee of the Whole Meeting on Tuesday April 21, 2026, at 11:00 am and considered for First and additional readings at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday April 28, 2026, at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers at 11995 Haney Place.

Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 8090-2026
Purpose: To allow an Accessory Pharmacy Use associated with a new doctor’s office at the subject property.

Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 8100-2026
Purpose: To permit an Animal Shelter use on the subject property.
Address: 10950 284 Street
A Public Hearing is proposed to be waived under section 464 (2) of the Local Government Act for each of these bylaws. All persons who believe their property interests are affected will have a reasonable opportunity to provide comments until the vote to waive. If waived, Council will not be able to receive any further input on this item.
The proposed bylaw(s) and permit(s) may be inspected at the Planning and Building Counter at Municipal Hall from April 17, 2026 to April 28, 2026 (8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays).
