Arts On Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows has put out the call to local arts organizations to apply for an Arts Partner Grant.
The grants offer funding for future artistic projects that bring creativity and culture to the community.
Organizations must be registered charities in Maple Ridge.
The mandate of Arts On, also known as the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council, is to support local arts organizations.
“We do this through our Grant Program for registered charitable organizations and through our Sponsorship Program for projects or activities that support and enhance Arts On’s programs and brand,” said the council online.
The use of grant funds must be for artistic events or activities which demonstrate a clear benefit to the residents of Maple Ridge.
Funds must be used for future activities or project support, and cannot be applied retroactively to projects or activities that have already taken place. General operations support is not eligible for funding.
While applications and proposals can be submitted at any time during the year, the deadline for the current period is no later than May 31.
Successful grant applicants will be notified by June 30.
Arts On / The Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Arts Council’s objective is to foster partnerships with organizations that have a strong influence in Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, and surrounding market regions, while ensuring a positive impact on the Arts Council’s business development and brand image.
