Ridge Meadows Chamber hosts AI in business session

The Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce is hosting Breakfast and Business this month, on the topic of artificial intelligence in business.

The event will be held on April 30, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre’s Alder Room, featuring Myriad Technology.

AI is already transforming how work gets done, yet many small and mid-sized businesses are unsure where to start, what is safe, and what delivers real value, says the Chamber.

This practical, interactive session will show how to use AI safely and effectively in daily work, to improve productivity, creativity, and focus, while also learning the risks and how to manage them.

This will be hands-on learning, not just theory. Those attending will see real examples, practical prompts, and strategies a team can apply immediately.

Myriad will cover how AI can enhance teamwork and productivity. Topics will include “the real power of AI in business workflows,” practical ways AI can save time, examples of AI prompts for marketing, and more.

Ammar Nabod, CEO of Myriad, has over 20 years of personal IT management and technical services experience. He serves on several boards, sharing his knowledge of IT strategy, cybersecurity, and business development to guide organizations beyond his own company. He holds multiple industry certifications and completed cybersecurity studies at Harvard University. Nabod works to help businesses turn technology into a strategic advantage, improving security, efficiency, and long-term growth.

The event is free to chamber members, and costs $25 plus GST for non-members.
