Police investigating Friday morning South Surrey home invasion

Surrey police are investigating after a 65-year-old woman was injured in a home invasion.

On Friday (March 27) around 11:15 a.m., Surrey Police Service officers responded to a residence in the 14400-block of 32B Avenue in South Surrey, where it was reported that armed individuals had been.

Inside the home, a 65-year-old woman was found suffering from a serious injury consistent with being struck by an object, an SPS release said.

She has been transported to hospital to receive treatment, and SPS Major Crime Section investigators are now helping with the investigation.

Any motives of the suspects are not yet known, SPS said.
