Inaugural National Collective Convention launching in Abbotsford

It’s set to be one of the biggest collectible shows ever in the Fraser Valley.

The inaugural National Collective Convention takes over Abbotsford’s Tradex on Saturday (March 28) and Sunday (March 29), with more than 500 vendors on-hand.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday and organizers state they have something for almost everyone. The 500-plus vendors will be spread out over 200,00 square feet inside Tradex.

“This is a show that celebrates the collecting of everything in one trade show,” organizers said in a press release. “It will feature a massive selection of Pokémon, TCG, anime, sports cards, non-sports cards, sports memorabilia, Hollywood collectibles, vintage toys, comics, retro video games, sci-fi collectibles, LEGO, vintage memorabilia and more.”

Attendees can have the ability to buy, sell, trade and interact with fellow collectors from all over North America. Vendors from British Columbia, Alberta and the United States expected at the show.

Some of the top vendors include: Upper Deck, Abbotsford’s House of Cards, Pastime Sports and Games, Everything J & J, Wally’s Sports Cards and Wiser’s Collectibles. Grading companies such as PSA and TGA will also be in attendance and accepting submissions.

Content creator Riley Roberts has been named the host of the show and will be making announcements, conducting interviews and helping attendees enjoy the event. Another top name promoted for the show is Darryl Garner – aka: @doctorcollectible. Garner is known for a wide range of collectibles from sports cards to LEGO and has nearly 25,000 followers on Instagram.

“Whether you are looking for a rare ‘holy grail’ card or simply want to soak in the atmosphere of a high-energy trade show, the Tradex will be the place to be,” organizers added.
