A free spring break event in Maple Ridge will help kids learn to ride a bike safely, and all cyclists to gain more skills and confidence.
Ride Ready is coming up on March 25, from noon to 4 p.m., at Firefighters Park (11280 238 Street).
Cyclists are invited to bring a bike and helmet and join in anytime during the event for hands-on safety activities, bike registration, and tune-up support.
Activities include a Bike Safety Zone with hands‑on bike safety education, a pump track obstacle course, and on‑site bike registration through Garage 529 to help increase the chances of recovery if a bike is lost or stolen.
Participants can also take advantage of bike tune‑ups and learn spring maintenance tips and tricks. Stop by the Recreation Tent to learn more about the city’s upcoming spring and summer programs.
