It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Walter in Maple Ridge Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Eve, sons Bill (Jessica), Rob, Don (Cyndi). Walter’s greatest joy was his grandchildren Cameron, Makena, Cooper. Walter was born in Montreal, settling in Maple Ridge in 1969. He worked in the trucking industry for 35 years. Walter was a founding member of the Maple Ridge Volunteer Fire Department Hall #2 for 15 years. In his spare time, he volunteered at the local home show, and youth sports, he also enjoyed camping with friends. The family wish to thank McKenney Creek Hospice for their excellent care of Walter. At his request there will be no service.
