Trades apprenticeship information session coming to Maple Ridge

The WorkBC Centre in Maple Ridge is hosting an upcoming interactive information session about the trades.

Working with SkilledTrades BC, which leads and coordinates the trades in the province, the session is aimed at job seekers in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows who are interested in starting or continuing a career in the trades.

The free event will be held at the WorkBC Centre (22470 Dewdney Trunk Road) on March 13, from 9:45 a.m. until noon.

The session will focus on the demand for trades in the province, steps to trade certification and advancement, how to become an apprentice, financial supports and resources available to apprentices, and more.

Participants are invited to come with questions, and connect directly with staff from SkilledTradesBC to get expert advice.
