After a successful debut event in 2025, the Abbotsford Fight League’s second event returns to the Ag-Rec Centre on Saturday (March 7).
There are six professional boxing bouts and 10 amateur bouts for the night, which is scheduled to get underway starting at 5 p.m.
The main event will once again feature Abbotsford’s Gagan Gill takes on Edmonton’s Joshua Ladouceur.
The 30-year-old Gill has competed at the amateur and professional level of mixed martial arts for over a decade, compiling a pro record of 5-3. He captured the Battlefield Fight League’s featherweight title in 2018 and was also a headline fighter in several of the Abbotsford-based Mamba Fight Night events.
As an amateur at MFN 3 back in 2016, he stopped Irish fighter Dario Sinagoga in the second round via rear naked choke. His first pro fight then occurred at MFN 4 in 2017, when he tapped out American Ian King in round one via guillotine choke. Most recently at MFN 8 in 2020, he defeated American Grant Gorsegner in round one via punches. In the years since Gill has mostly competed at BFL, with his last fight ending in a loss to Caleb Moctezuma on Feb. 8, 2024.
Gill made his pro boxing debut at the inaugural AFL event last May and earned a victory over Christian Treymayne.
Ladouceur last competed for Alberta’s Havoc FC and lost a bare knuckle boxing bout on Feb. 9, 2024. He has a pro MMA record of 2-7 and last tasted victory in 2015.
The co-main event sees Surrey’s Gavin Bisla challenge Shawn Archer. Bisla enters the event with a pro boxing record of 3-1-1 and last won a bout in Mexico on April 12, 2025. Archer, a Quesnel product, has a record of 2-5 and most recently lost a bout in December 2024.
