Many Canadians across the country will get up early Sunday morning to tune in to the men’s Olympic hockey gold medal game as Canada takes on the United States at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
In British Columbia, the puck drops at 5:10 a.m. PST, but many pubs and restaurants are opening early so people can come in and watch the game together.
Premier David Eby, in a post on social media Friday, said, “Also happy to say you can celebrate at one of our local B.C. hospitality locations with a licensed beverage starting at 5:00 am on Sunday, where local governments allow.”
Note: some locations may require a reservation and/or be sold out
