Martin William Hill (Marty) was born on July 3, 1952, in Victoria, British Columbia passed away unexpectedly on Jan 25, 2026. Martin had a lifelong passion for amateur radio and was an active, proud member of the Maple Ridge Amateur Radio Club under the callsign VE7XX. Through this community, he built lasting friendships and shared his knowledge generously, always willing to help and connect with others. Martin was predeceased by his son, Trevor Hill. He is lovingly remembered by his surviving children, Jeffrey Hill (Kelly) and Karly Sanderson (Grant), his sister Maxine(Peter) and all of his cherished grandchildren, who brought him great pride and joy. Martin’s legacy lives on through his family, his friendships, and the many lives he touched through his involvement in the amateur radio community. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
