A new career growth and leadership forum titled “Women Leading the Way” is coming to Chances Maple Ridge.
The free event by WorkBC Maple Ridge will happen on Feb. 11 from 2:30 to 5 p.m., and is aimed at women job seekers, those changing careers, early‑career professionals, and employees looking to grow or advance.
Women Leading the Way is a moderated panel discussion followed by an interactive audience question and answer.
This forum focuses on real‑world career navigation for Women by Women — from finding your next role, rebuilding confidence during transition, and advocating for yourself, to developing leadership skills that matter in today’s evolving workplace.
Panelists will share lived experience and practical insight on navigating barriers, building influence before you have a title, and preparing for a future shaped by inclusion, emotional intelligence, and AI.
Tiffany Laurie, executive director of Great Canadian Entertainment which owns of Chances, will be part of the lineup, as will Nicole Archer, executive director Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association, Michelle Lewis, chief human resources officer for the City of Maple Ridge, and other local leaders.
Whether you’re actively job searching, exploring new opportunities, or ready to take the next step where you are, this conversation is designed to provide clarity, encouragement, and tools you can use immediately.
