If I had $3M dollars: White Rock resident wins VGH+ Millionaire Lottery

A White Rock resident is the lucky winner of the VGH+ Millionaire Lottery.

The grand prize draws happened Monday, Feb. 2, and E. Fedewich of White Rock bought the winning ticket — 9119227 — and now gets to choose one of 10 grand prize options.

Those options include homes in South Surrey, Vancouver, Burnaby, Langley, Courtenay, Sooke, Colwood or Kelowna (two homes), or $3 million cash.

“And we have a winner! From White Rock, B.C. … we might even be able to see you from over here!” quipped lottery spokesman Todd Talbot in the winner announcement video.

Other prize winners were also announced, for gift cards from Wickertree, Travel Best Bets, and Tim Hortons, as well as a choice between two new vehicles or $43,000 cash.

All proceeds from the lottery support VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, funding state-of-the-art equipment, groundbreaking research, and innovative patient care at Vancouver General Hospital, UBC Hospital, Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre, and Vancouver Community Health Services.
