It will be a time for feasting, poetry and a celebration of all things Scottish during Robbie Burns Day celebrations on and around Jan. 25.
Burns, an 18th-century Scot, was born on Jan. 25, 1759 and died in 1796 at the age of 37. He is widely recognized as one of his country’s most notable poets.
Each year, Robbie Burns Day suppers are held around the world in his honour.
