Our Feathered Friends first Pitt Meadows exhibit of 2026

“Our Feathered Friends” will be the first exhibit of 2026 at the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery, opening this Saturday, Jan. 24.

This exhibition is a limited edition series created by printmaker Molly Gray. Each piece has been meticulously hand-carved and printed to scale, and they celebrate the rich diversity of bird species found throughout British Columbia.

At 1 p.m. on Jan. 24 there will be an opening reception, with a chance to meet the artist and learn more about these creatures and their habitats. The gallery is at the South Bonson Community Centre (10932 Barnston View Rd.).

Gray is a multidisciplinary, neurodivergent artist living and working in Langley, on the unceded territory of the Kwantlen First Nation. She specializes in linocut printmaking, painting, and graphic illustration, while also exploring textiles and metal sculpture.

For anyone interested in learning more about lino carving, Gray will be presenting a lino carving demonstration on Saturday, Feb. 14. To register call 604-465-2452 or visit pittfitandfun.ca.

Our Feathered Friends will be at the Gallery until March 1.
