NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to s. 94 of the Community Charter and s. 467 of the Local Government Act that the following proposed zone amending bylaw will be presented at the Committee of the Whole Meeting on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 11:00 am and considered for 1st and additional readings at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday January 27, 2026, starting at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers at 11995 Haney Place.

Maple Ridge Zone Amending Bylaw No. 8083-2025
Purpose: To rezone the subject property from RS-1 (Single Detached Residential) to R-1 (Single Detached (Low Density) Urban Residential) to allow the future construction of 8 lots.

As a Public Hearing is prohibited to be held in accordance with s. 464 (3) of the Local Government Act
for the proposed Zoning Bylaw, verbal comments, or delegations on this matter by members of the public will not be permitted during the meeting.
The proposed bylaw(s) and permit(s) may be inspected at the Planning and Building Counter at Municipal Hall from January 16, 2026 – January 27, 2026 (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays) and staff reports and other relevant information may be obtained from the City’s website: MapleRidge.ca/CouncilMeetings
