Surrey house shot at for third time

A house in Guildford has been shot at for a third time this month.

No arrests have been made related to these shootings in the 11000-block of 140A Street.

The most recent was at 3:05 a.m. on December 28, following the second at 7:45 a.m. on December 27 and the first at 8:21 a.m. December 7.

“Investigators believe these incidents are targeted to a resident of the home and do not believe they are linked to any extortions or the BC Gang Conflict,” said Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton of the Surrey Police Service.

“Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to residents or neighbours. No arrests have been made at this time.”

The RCMP’s Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit (SPOSU) has conduct of the investigation.

Meantime, police are asking anyone with information, dash-cam or home surveillance footage to call Surrey Police Service’s non-emergency number at 604-599-0502, Houghton said, “as you may have captured images that could assist the investigators.”

In the first case, he noted, police responded to two vehicle fires on the morning of December 7 that appear to be connected, in the 10200 block 125 Street and on Regal Drive near Regent Place.
